Feature Summary

SuperVision® Eye Formula with Lutein supports healthy vision, for life. A lifetime of exposure to solar light causes degeneration of the macula tissue of the eyes, unless they are regularly supplied with the dietary pigment, lutein. The macula have been shown to concentrate dietary lutein, and convert some of it into zeaxanthin, another protective pigment. These compounds are carotenoids, the same pigment class as beta-carotene, and they absorb harmful blue light, especially from the sun. Similarly cataracts are caused by solar damage to the lens proteins in the eyes. The lens can accumulate lutein to prevent cataracts and it has been found that when there is a high level of lutein in the macula, there is a reduced incidence of cataracts. SuperVision Eye Formula with Lutein is a dietary supplement with lutein and other plant extracts known to benefit the eyes. It contains Bilberry extract as well as anthocyanidins, rutin, and quercetin. Collectively, these bioflavonoid constituents are associated with improved blood circulation to the retina, which enhances lutein delivery to the macula, and strengthens the fine capillaries of the eye.

Medicinal Ingredients

Bilberry 5:1 extract of the fruit (Vaccinium myrtillus), carrot juice powder, eyebright 4:1 extract (Euphrasia officinalis), lutein from FloraGlo™ lutein, multi-anthocyanidins (from blueberry, bilberry, cherry, cranberry, elderberry, grape, raspberry and strawberry), quercetin, rutin.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

Gelatin capsule (gelatin, purified water), rice flour

Recommended Dosage

2  capsules 3 times daily, or as directed by a physician. Take with a meal containing fat/oil since the lutein component is strictly fat-soluble.
