Webber Naturals & the West Vancouver Field Hockey Club Part 2

WRITTEN BY  Ana Patrícia- 29 September 2011

Webber Naturals sponsored field hockey event, the CANgaroo clash, was a great success!

We got ourselves a couple of new fans there too. They really enjoyed the samples!

Well folks, vitamins and health supplements don't all taste gross! These two young men were big fans of our Liquid Omega 3 with Vitamins A & D. It's lemon merangue flavour!

So we asked: "Want some more?"

Their answer: "Yes!"

We had a lot of fun at our tent. Who wouldn't want to visit with us?! These and more will be up on our Facebook page soon. Cheers!

Webber Naturals & the West Vancouver Field Hockey Club

Webber Naturals is in the community! Check out these photos from the West Vancouver Field Hockey Tournament!

Canada vs. Australia, with Webber Naturals on the sidelines, at the CANgaroo Clash!

Getting outdoors, joining a sports team and running around a field is a great way to stay in shape; excellent for your health. Vitamins and good nutrition help too, which is exactly what we wanted to promote a couple weeks ago in West Vancouver.

On September 10 (to be really specific), Webber Naturals was happily a sponsor at the CANgaroo Clash! The West Vancouver Field Hockey Club hosted Game 2 of the tournament for the official opening of Rutledge Field. It was a day full of athleticism, sportsmanship, and family fun!

Check out these photos of Canada vs. Australia! See the purple?

It's Webber purple! Now, some action shots...

I hope you enjoyed! I've got a few more fun ones to share with you tomorrow. Ciao everyone!

Healthy Google Doodle - Webber Naturals

WRITTEN BY  Ana Patrícia- 19 September 2011

Google and Webber Naturals remembers a person that made waves in health research: Albert Szent-Györgyi

Credited with the discovery of vitamin C, Albert Szent-Györgyi would have turned 118 years old this past September 16th.

In memory of the Hungarian scientist, Google adorned its homepage logo with vitamin C rich foods, with two bright big oranges up front and centre. Aside from discovering vitamin C, Szent-Györgyi is also credited with discovering the components and reactions of the citric acid cycle.

Get to know more about this 1937 Nobel Peace Prize winner and the last Friday's Google doodle. And here's is some quick information on the discovery of the all important vitamin C.

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin and you can never get too much! It's an essential nutrient and a vital antioxident that our system needs. So don't forget to take your vitamin C! If you're not a fan of oranges (like myself, I must admit), there are plenty of other sources: strawberries, asparagus, papaya, orange juice (which I do like strangely enough), grapefruit juice, brussel sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, green peppers and lemons. Although, I don't really suggest eating lemons by themselves. Those lemons have a pretty sour bite!

You can also get some vitamin C supplements if you're not a fan of anything on that list. We've got a lot of options for you to choose from. Cheers friends!
