Add a little pizazz to your fruit snacks!
This Tasty Tuesday, we're fancying up regular melon slices with some crunchy cacao!

Fruit makes for an excellent snack. It's healthy, juicy, recommended, nutritious, affordable, delicious... The list of fruit's redeeming qualities goes on. Yes, it's true that fruit is quite tasty on it's own but sometimes I find (especially with apples) that if I have too much of the same fruit too often, I get bored or sick of its flavour, and then completely uninterested no matter how healthy it is! That's when I need to add a little something extra to peak my interest again...
Here's a yummy and incredibly simple way of adding a kick to melons!
From the delectable food publication, Sated Magazine, here is a super easy snack recipe...
Melon with Roasted Cacao Nibs
1 - 2 Tbspn raw cacao nibs
1 cantaloupe or other orange-flesh melon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread the cacao nibs on a baking sheet. Roast the nibs for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and crush the nibs. Slice the melon and sprinkle with the crushed roasted cacao nibs.
