Health Quiz: the Flu!

WRITTEN BY  Ana Patrícia- 07 March 2013

How well do you know the facts of the flu? Test your knowledge!

Stay a step ahead of the common cold and flu bug!

We've got a pop quiz for you today and it's all about the flu. The New York Times presents The Well Flu Quiz and will put your health knowledge to the test.

What surfaces are the most flu-virus friendly? How far away do you need to be from a person who's got some serious sniffles? Take the quiz and find out!

If you feel you've got a cold coming, try some of our Immune Support products. My personal favourites are Sunkist Vitamin C's and Virus-A-Tak. Echinacea has always been a wonderful help in staving off that cold or, at the very least, shortening my cold length!

Stay healthy everyone! I know spring is just around the corner but there is still plenty of time for that cold-weather flu!

Secrets to a Good Night's Sleep

WRITTEN BY  Ana Patrícia- 15 February 2013

We want you to have the best sleep ever!

Work towards a better sleep from the moment you wake up! Read on for some useful tips...

Did you know that you can help yourself sleep soundly and solidly at night during the day? Me neither. So far the only tips I've ever learned were the usual: warm milk, herbal tea, counting sheep... These suggestions can still be helpful but there's so much more you can do from the moment you wake up!

If you want to be able to sleep soundly like this cute puppy, then I suggest you try a few of these tips from Steven & Chris in Secrets to a Good Night's Sleep.

Some of those tips are surprisingly simple, such as putting away your electronic devices before bedtime and winding down the old fashioned way: with a book! But sometimes, no matter what one does, a restful sleep can evade him or her. Even when your body is tired, stress and anxiety can keep our minds active and prevent us from getting all the zzz's we need. In those cases, I suggest checking out our Sleep & Stress products.

Sleep well everyone!
