Advanced Info

Ease your pain with the newest innovation from webber naturals, Canada's #1 joint care brand.

Osteoarthritis sufferers commonly use over-the-counter pain relievers, and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to reduce pain and swelling and to cope with joint stiffness. While these drugs may be helpful they can cause side effects, and they do nothing to support long-term joint health.

Osteo Joint Ease represents the next generation of natural joint care. This innovative formula contains patented InflamEase™, a synergistic combination of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving botanicals that relieve pain and inflammation fast and without side effects. This is a 100% natural formula that addresses pain associated with osteoarthritis, and protects against deterioration of cartilage.

These joint care superstars not only help with pain and inflammation, but support long-term joint health, helping to rebuild cartilage and lubricate joints. Only two caplets a day provide the key nutrients to ease joint pain and support healthy cartilage, without drugs or unwanted side effects.

frequently asked questions

  1. What is glucosamine sulfate made from?
Glucosamine is generally sourced from the hard shells of shellfish. Those allergic to shellfish may be concerned over a possible allergic reaction to glucosamine. Very few cases of allergic reactions to glucosamine have been reported, probably because shellfish allergens are in the meat not the shells, and the extraction process removes any remaining meat.
  2. Is glucosamine really effective?
Glucosamine is the top selling natural supplement for improving joint health. Glucosamine has been extensively studied, and much research indicates that glucosamine sulfate can speed the repair of cartilage, reduce the pain of arthritis and slow its progress.
  3. Is glucosamine safe with my medications?
People taking blood-thinning medication (anticoagulants) or other natural health products with a blood-thinning effect should check with their physician before taking glucosamine. Glucosamine is not recommended for use in pregnancy or while nursing as its effects on a growing child or developing baby are not yet known.
  4. Are there any side effects of glucosamine?
Glucosamine is usually well tolerated. Some sensitive individuals may experience nausea, diarrhea or constipation, heartburn, or increased intestinal gas when taking glucosamine. Taking glucosamine with food can help minimize these effects.
  5. What do glucosamine and chondroitin sulfates do in the body?
Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfates work together to arrest cartilage deterioration by stimulating the production of collagen and proteoglycans, natural components of cartilage and joint fluids. They also appear to protect joints from the action of enzymes that can breakdown cartilage.
  6. Does glucosamine sulfate contain sodium?
Yes, glucosamine sulfate does contain sodium. Glucosamine sulfate contains sodium salt as a stabilizer to prevent moisture absorption. If you are on a sodium-restricted diet you can use sodium-free glucosamine, which uses potassium chloride to reduce moisture problems.
  7. What is the sodium content of Glucosamine sulfate?
The glucosamine sulfate in Joint Ease products is not a significant source of sodium. A 500 mg capsule, for instance, typically contains around 1 mg of naturally occurring sodium.
  8. What is the potassium content of the Sodium Free Glucosamine Sulfate?
The glucosamine sulfate in all Joint Ease products contains around 86 mg of potassium per 500 mg capsule.
  9. Are there any allergy concerns with glucosamine?
Glucosamine sulfate is a highly purified ingredient and does not contain allergenic shellfish flesh proteins. Although we are not aware of any allergic reactions to glucosamine sulfate in people with shellfish allergies, individuals with severe allergies should consult their physician before use.
