Sesame Street Daily Sunshine Vitamin Baby D from Webber Naturals provides the nutritional support that babies and children need in a convenient, easy-to-take liquid formula. Children’s growing bodies need “the sunshine vitamin” to support the development of healthy bones and teeth and the maintenance of overall health. By assisting with the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, vitamin D helps children and adolescents maintain a healthy skeletal system, including strong tooth enamel.
Our main source of vitamin D is the sun; however, increased use of sunscreen and living at northern latitudes can limit sun exposure, which in turn restricts vitamin D production. Furthermore, Health Canada recommends that all breastfed, healthy-term babies are supplemented with 400 IU of vitamin D per day.
Sesame Street encourages healthy habits in a fun and simple way. Our liquid D formula is made especially for babies and children ages 0 and up. Each drop contains 400 IU of vitamin D3 in a base of organic flaxseed oil to ensure an adequate intake every day. D3 (cholecalciferol) is the same form of vitamin D the body makes when exposed to sunshine and is a preferred supplementation choice over the D2 form. This is a fantastic supplement for breastfed babies, as well as for children who do not drink milk and who love Sesame Street.
