Medicinal Ingredients

Each capsule contains:
Lactase (Aspergillus oryzae) (whole) 250 mg (9000 FCC* ALU**)
*FCC: Food Chemical Codex; **ALU: Acid Lactase Unit

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

Microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin capsule (gelatin, purified water), vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Dosage

Recommended dosage (adults): 1–2 capsules immediately before consuming dairy products or any food containing lactose.
Depending on the food you are eating and how much lactose it has in it, coupled with your sensitivity to lactose, you may need 2 capsules at a time, but no more than 6 per day.
Dairy Again lactase enzyme must be taken each time you eat a lactose-containing food as it only works on the food just eaten.
Consult a physician for prolonged use.

Recommended Purpose

  • Helps prevent symptoms of lactose intolerance including bloating, gas, flatulence, cramping, and diarrhea. 
  • Assists in the digestion of foods containing lactose (e.g., dairy foods, milk).

Are the gelatin capsules, Halal?
Hi Shadman, Dairy Again! Lactase Enzyme capsules are made from bovine (beef). At this time, all of our 2-piece hard gelatin capsules are halal; however, we do not certify our finished products as halal. Hope this helps!
My Shoppers and Rexall and Walmart used to carry this product as well as Amazon in Canada and now no one carries it and they sent me the vanilla one that I cannot tolerate. Is something happening with your suppliers? Please advise where in Toronto I can get the unflavored capsules Dairy Again
