Medicinal Ingredients

Each capsule contains:
Lactase (Aspergillus oryzae) (whole)	9000 FCC* ALU** (250 mg)
FCC: Food Chemical Codex; *ALU: Acid Lactase Unit

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

Microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin capsule (gelatin [bovine], purified water), vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Dosage

Recommended dosage (adults): 1–2 capsules immediately before consuming dairy products or any food containing lactose.
For high lactose in the food or for severe lactose intolerance, you may need 2 capsules at a time, but no more than 2.
Lactase enzyme must be taken each time you eat a lactose containing food. It only works on the food just eaten.
Lactase enzyme does not stay in the body and must be taken at each meal or with snacks containing dairy products.

Recommended Purpose

Helps prevent symptoms of lactose intolerance (including gas, bloating, cramping, and diarrhea).
Digestive enzyme/lactase to assist in the digestion of foods containing lactose (e.g., dairy foods, milk).
